Holiday Cards!

Yes, the weather is cooling down and the leaves are officially starting to change colors, so that means the holidays are right around the corner, right? Terrific Two!

Although it took a few tries due to rainy weather, I finally had the pleasure of photographing this little beauty. She recently turned two, and proved the old "Terrible Two" adage wrong. She was so cooperative- a "Terrific Two". Here are a few of my favorites...

Almost Two!

Remember this guy? I met up with his mom at the same park we went to almost one year ago- now he's almost two years old!

Although I did not get another classic "kissing" shot (as I did last year), I did catch a couple cute pics of them sharing a flower!

Look how grown-up he is. Adorable!

Update!

I know the blog has been slow, but for good reason! I am 36 weeks pregnant and my baby boy is due to arrive on August 3rd. I still plan to do a couple of sessions before that time, but in the meantime, get ready for newborn overload come early August!

And because I cannot post without pictures, here are a few shots I took of my little girl in the field behind our house...

Griffin

Meet two week old Griffin. I had all kinds of sweet sleeping shots planned for this little guy... clearly he had other plans! We still managed to get some fun wide awake pictures- he's just precious.

I did catch him asleep for just a bit!

One!

I had so much fun photographing Layla again- this time shortly after her first birthday! After seeing how much she loved her cake on her birthday, I knew she'd be the perfect subject for a cake smash. As you can see, she proved me right...

Then we took some in her Easter dress.

And one of things I always have in my "bag of tricks"- bubbles!

Finally, we headed to her room, to snap a few.

So.. it's been awhile since I've updated my blog! Now that the holidays are over and things have slowed down a bit around here, I'm excited to get back into the swing of taking pictures!

I had so much fun with this little guy. He is 7 months old, which is the perfect age to photograph. He was so happy and couldn't yet run away like my toddler does!

Christmas Fun!

The challenge: to get a cute Christmas card photo of this fun family (all under the age of 5!). The result: success... thanks to some great cooperation and a few pieces of candy!

Remember Layla? I did a photo shoot with her nearly three months ago- and here she is again, looking just as lovely.

For Halloween this year, Layla and her family all dressed up as characters from Peter Pan. Obviously, she was Tinkerbell and her mom wanted a shot of this adorable costume.
