This wonderful family recently welcomed a new little boy into their family.
Here he is with his big sister, who was so cooperative...
and happy to have her picture taken!
A shot with his beautiful mom-
and safe in dad's hands.
Thanks to you all for allowing me to come and photograph your family!
I photographed part two of this little guy's newborn session, this time focusing on family shots. He is clearly a good luck charm, because the Saints won the Superbowl! Mom and Dad's bedroom had some great natural light streaming in, so we did some fun, lifestyle type pictures there.
Here's the whole family...
And a couple more formal shots...
I had a great time with you all- your full gallery will be up soon!
I'm so excited to offer this new, unique product called a float wrap. Below are the three I ordered for my wall (the largest is a 16 X 20 and the two smaller are 10 X 10)...
Float wraps are a great way to create a modern display with no need for framing- the emphasis is clearly on the image!
These come ready to hang, as shown, complete with a black paper backing and a black ¾" thick gatorboard block that allows the wrap to extend out from the wall. The back also contains holes for hanging (if you'd prefer to display your wrap on an easel, I can order it without the gatorboard block).
They come in a variety of sizes... ask me for more details if you're interested!
Remember
this maternity session? Well, they welcomed their first baby on January 18th. Mom and dad are big New Orleans Saints fans, so we'll do part 2 of this session after the Superbowl when dad has shaved his good luck beard. This little guy was such a "saint" to photograph- here are a few favorites...
He gave me some great eye contact!
Congrats again Lesley & Frank, he's perfect! Looking forward to part 2 of our session!
Things have slowed down after the holiday rush, so I'm happy to have some time to take pictures of my favorite subjects- my own kids! Lately, Alex has been full of many expressions and I decided to catch them on camera. Here they are...
Inquisitive
Goofy
Surprised
Silly
And just plain cute!
Also, I wanted to show an example of a fun new product I'm offering- it's called a storyboard. It's a customized collage that is a unique way to include many pictures from your session in one display. It comes mounted and ready to hang.
This is one I created to match Alex's room and I plan to have it printed as a 10X20. There are a variety of size and layout options available. Please contact me if you're interested in having one made from your session!
I had a little photoshoot with my niece while she was here visiting from Arizona. The snow and cold temperatures were quite the shock for her, but she was a good sport.

There is something about this one that I really love- it's one of my favorite pictures I've taken.
Smiles were tough to coax out of her since she was out of her element, but I did manage to get a little smirk!
This one is fun because you can see the Colorado mountains in the background.
Finally, a classic black and white.
I had a such an amazing time photographing so many wonderful people, learning and growing with each session. Below is a slideshow summary of the year.
I look forward to a fantastic 2010!
I met up with this great family at Garden of the Gods over Thanksgiving weekend. They are dear family friends and it's always fun when we get together because are kids are almost exactly the same ages. The weather was so nice that we had to brave quite the crowd, but it was worth it.
This little cutie is almost two months old.
Here is his handsome big brother... he just turned two.
A fun shot of both boys together.
And the whole family...
You guys are awesome... hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
I had the pleasure of taking photos of my husband's friend from elementary school and his family. They all had such natural smiles and were very easy to photograph.

They were in town from California for Thanksgiving and it was this little guy's first time playing in the snow.
Thanks for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family... it was so good to see you guys!
I photographed this couple's engagement session on Sunday at Red Rocks. During our session, we crawled around on rocks in the park and enjoyed the surrounding scenery. Katie and Michael are a fun, easy-going couple and I'm excited to be photographing their wedding in May! Here are a few (of many) favorites...
I saw this hole within a rock and thought it would be fun to use it as a "frame."
Congratulations to both of you... can't wait for your big day!
This little guy slept like a dream- I had a great time cuddling him and getting these shots...
The weather was warm yet again and I was able to capture these basket shots- they are my favorites!
Congratulations Jay & Angela- thank you for allowing me to photograph your perfect little boy!
This cute little guy is in town from Chicago and will be celebrating his first birthday in a couple of days. He was a little shy at first, but by the end of our session, he was full of smiles.
Love this hat his mom chose!
And here are a couple of him with his beautiful mother...
I had a great time with you all today... I hope you enjoy your stay in Colorado!
